MAKASSAR CITY TOUR
TUE 14 OCT. 2008
12,30 – 13.00 Pick up at your hotel
13.00 – 14.45 Depart for Somba Opu complex to visit miniature of South Sulawesi then continue to Balla Lompoa the giant Adat House of Gowa
14.45 – 15.00 Upon arrival , Welcome ceremony at Balla Lompoa which will be performed by Makassarese Generation following the speech of Gowa Regent
15.00 – 15.45 Entertainment with different activities during your visit including several Traditional Dances , museum , handicraft etc.
15.45 – 16.00 Enjoy traditional cakes & closing ceremony
16.45 – 17.15 Back to the town of Makassar then to the gate of Tanjung Bunga the new wing of Makassar Water Front City
16.45 – 17.15 From there you will discover along Pantai Losari which attract their visitor with beautiful Sunset , up-to Fort Rotterdam the cultural center of South Sulawesi
17.15 – 18.00 Short visit to Somba Opu Shopping center
18.00 – 18.10 Return to your hotel

Saturday, 18 October 2008 (Makassar – Kupa/Parepare – Toraja)
’07.00 – 08.00 This morning you will be met by your guide and Transfer directly to Toraja-land through the Buginese country-side with beautiful landscape of rice field and the fishermen villages, some photo-stops throughout the trip.
08.30 – 12.00 Refreshment and welcomed by traditional gambus made just in front of the cave, of a beautiful Karst of Mattampa Pangkep.
12.00 – 13.00 Your lunch will be served at Kupa Beach Restaurant, continue to Toraja-Highland.
15.00 - Refreshment will be served at Bambapuang
18.00 Arrive at your hotel for your accommodation and meals

Sunday, 19 October 2008 (Excursion in Toraja)
07.00 – 08.00 Breakfast at Hotel
08.00 – 12.00 A full-day excursion has been set aside for the excursion in Toraja land . Highlights in this region include the stone graves of Lemo and Londa, and the ancient graves where the bodies of the dead are placed with animistic ritual that is still performed today as it has been for centuries.
12.00..- 13.00 Lunch will be served at local restaurant
13.00. – 18.00 Afternoon visit to : Typical Toraja houses are found at Kete and Palawa. The remarkable architecture of their houses which are designed in boat shape or very similar to the buffalo's horn, in order to carry the spirit to the heaven reflects their concept of the hereafter. You will be among the words few and fortunate visitors in this remote area. Any ceremony such as funeral if reachable by walking distance will be included. Continue by exploring the local market of the mountain people.
18.00 – 19.00 Driving back to your hotel.
Dinner will be served at your hotel
Monday , 20 October 2008, Rantepao - Parepare – Makassar
05.00 – 07.00 Early Breakfast and prepare to leave Toraja, back to Makassar. Refreshment stop will be make at range of Bambapuang
11.00 – 12.00 Your lunch will be served at Bukit Indah Restaurant at Parepare. Then proceed to the airport for another two hours drive.
14.00 – 15.00 In time for reporting and luggage check in to airline counter for your next flight
