Pasar Wisata - Tourism Indonesia Mart & Expo 2010 | Message From Minister of Culture and Tourism of The Republic of Indonesia

Dear friends from tourism industry,

I am pleased to welcome all of you to Tourism Indonesia Mart & Expo (TIME) 2010 in Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Province. Around 35 km east of Bali, the Nusa Tenggara or Lesser Sunda chain of islands stretches from Lombok to Timor. Nusa Tenggara consist of two provinces, West Nusa Tenggara (Lombok and Sumbawa), and East Nusa Tenggara (Sumba, Flores and West Timor).

My special thanks to the Organizing Committee of TIME for selecting Lombok as host for 15th TIME 2009 and again for 16th TIME 2010 on 12-15 October 2010.

As already known, Nusa Tenggara is famous for its extraordinary beautiful beaches for relaxing and for having a rest. Going on excursion to a mountain that is still active and something erupting is an interesting challenge for adventures.

Again, I appreciate your noble initiative and I hope through this event will contribute to our foreign arrival target 7 million and 235 million domestic tourists in 2010.
